Endurance Athletes to End Alzheimer's
EA2EA has set a goal of raising $250,000 over five years with all profits being donated to Alzheimer’s research.

Our mission is to support athletes participating in endurance sports from running to biking to climbing as they raise funds for EA2EA. Our athletes are amatuers devoting hundreds of hours to training for such events, often spending entire weekends in training running and biking distances most of us would consider a lifetime accomplishment. They sacrifice their time and energy….so EA2EA is supporting their efforts and providing a focused purpose for completing these distance events. Combined, the athlete, the donors small and large and EA2EA hope to increase awareness and to fund research to end Alzheimer’s.

Our passion for ending Alzheimer’s disease is inspired by the death of Donald F. Rogan in 2003. Don was the loving father of Susan (Rogan) LeBlanc, our co-founder and dedicated athlete fund-raiser. Don was robbed of a vibrant life with his devoted wife Nancy when he was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s and dementia in 1995. While our goal is personal, the scourge of ALZ is evident in society and must be eradicated soon. Too many of our elderly facing an ALZ diagnosis – aka a sentence – enter despair and depression compounding the impact of the physical disease. Recently a close family friend also died of complications due to Alzheimer’s. RiP J.

Endurance Athletes 2 End Alzheimer’s was incorporated as a non-profit in 2023 to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s research. We are a certified 501(C)(3) Public Charity. Our primary beneficiary is the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (GADRC) located in Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
