SUSAN (ROGAN) LEBLANC
Susan serves as President of Endurance Athletes 2 End Alzheimer’s (EA2EA). She has been participating in endurance racing for over 15 years, beginning with a Olympic-distance race in 2008 to support a neighbor’s child who was battling leukemia. Since then, Susan has raised over $60,000 for LLS and competed in approximately 30 events. She has finished 4 Ironman Triathlons (2013: Coeur d’Alene, ID/2015: Chattanooga, TN/2017: Louisville, KY/ 2023: Cambridge, MD.) In Maryland, at the age of 60, Susan had her personal record time and subsequently qualified for the Ironman World Championships for women in Nice, FRA in September 2024.
JENNIE (RUSCIANO) ROCKWOOD
JENNIE (RUSCIANO) ROCKWOOD
Jennie serves as Vice President of EA2EA. She has been an endurance athlete since 2006, competing in over 50 events including one Ironman finishes in Lousiville, KY. Jennie also participated in LLS fundraising as an active member of the Team in Training organization. She has raised over $30,000 for LLS to date and is looking forward to helping Alzheimer’s research via EA2EA.
THOMAS ROCKWOOD
THOMAS ROCKWOOD
Thomas is the Treasurer for EA2EA and also an accomplished endurance athlete. His list of events includes multiple Full and Half Ironman Triathlons as well as several ultra-marathons and long-distance cycling races. He is an accomplished mountaineer, alpinist and skier. Thomas is the strategist advisor to our athletes imparting important pre-race, race and post-race advice to help our amateur athletes perform at their optimum level and exert the least effort for the best times.
JAMES LEBLANC
JAMES LEBLANC
Jim serves as Secretary for EA2EA. He is the Chief Get-stuff-Done person handling all the administrative and support functions for our athlete-leader team. His accomplishments are focused on the golf course however, winning the Clubland Cup at Indian Hills CC 4 times. Additionally, Jim claimed the Year-long single player match play title in 2014. Being the odd man in the leaders circle, he considers endurance to be anything over 27 holes in one day.
